In A Rush Morning Skincare

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to give you a rundown of my morning skincare as over the recent months I've really found some good staple products. Morning skincare for me is a huge faff! I get up for at 5am for work, so I need my products to be quick and efficient and these ones do the job. It does look like a lot (to me!) but my routine is done in 5 minutes max which works for me!

After rolling out of bed, the first thing I go to do is wash my face and for this I use the First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser (£14.00).  The Face Cleanser has very interesting texture, almost like a whipped mousse, which I like! When you add water it foams up which I was worried would strip my skin but despite that it leaves my skin feel clean and soft! I don't like this cleanser for removing make up, so I just leave this as my morning cleanser.

After cleansing, I like to just dampen a cotton pad with my Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water (£3.49 - £4.99). I find this to really refreshes my skin and just removes anything that might have been left on my skin.

Next is moisturizer and oh wow, the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream (£9.00 or £20.50) is probably the best moisturizer I've used. It has pretty thick consistency but it sinks in quick and doesn't leave a greasy feel to the skin. I've had trouble with a dry nose (with the amount of colds I've had!) and this has cleared up in no time at all. I also love that you can use on any area of the body, so I use a little too much and can just rub it into my hands or elbows.

Lastly, I use Nieva Hydro Care Lip Balm (£1.99) which is just a bog standard lip balm that I'm using right now. It light weight and sinks in quickly, which is perfect because I hate feeling like I have ton of product on my lips. If there happens to be any pesky spots on my face, I like to just go in with some of the Superdrug Tea Tree Spot Stick (£3.29) which helps clean and clear up spots. Mine also lasts ages and you can use it for multiple purposes too which a bonus.

There is all the products I use in my morning routine. Do you like any of these products and what products do you like for your morning skincare? I'll also be posting an evening skincare routine so check out for that soon.

  1. I really like how effective the Garnier micellar water is at removing makeup, and it doesn't cause any irritation or anything! I really want to try that first aid beauty cleanser, I've been using the Simples one and it's a bit too mild at times!

  2. Managed to pick up a bottle of Garnier's Micellar water when I was in London, and I'm pretty pleased with it for minimal makeup days! BUT YAS TO THE FAB CREAM. I keep it on my bed for when I'm too lazy to get up to moisturize my face, but it's a pretty good moisturizer!

  3. I'm a huge fan of the Garnier Micellar Water, so cheap and so effective at taking off makeup!
