L'Oreal Micellar Solution

In terms of skincare, I've never really ventured into the world of micellar waters/solutions. Maybe it's because the only one I had heard of was Bioderma, which is pretty pricey and difficult to get over here in the UK. So, I thought why not give the L'Oreal 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution (what a mouth full!) a try since it's a steal at only £3.33 in Boots.
I've never tried Bioderma so I can't really compare the two products but from what I've read, it's a good dupe!

I was SUPER impressed with the way that the micellar solution removed my makeup; it breaks up all the make up without me needing to rub/pull at my skin. Even my mascara; removing mascara is my least favourite part of my routine but with this my mascara is easily taken off, with no rubbing or raw, red eyes after (even on my sensitive eyes I have no problems!). All I do is soak a cotton pad in the solution, hold over my eye for a few seconds and bam! Bye bye mascara!

Apart from its impressive makeup removing skills what I love the most is that it is very lightweight, I don't feel like I'm clogging my pores with creams and oils. It feels really refreshing and light on the skin - which is nice in both the morning and night! My skin does feel toned and soothed after use; it really does what it says on the bottle!

I'd defiantly recommend this product to anyone who is thinking about trying a micellar water/solution. I've already brought a new bottle ready of when my first one runs out!

Have you tried this product or any other micellar solutions? What yours favourite makeup remover?

  1. I love this product! I also bought this because you can't get Bioderma in the UK. I did buy a bottle of Bioderma on holiday though but havn't used it yet as I'm waiting for the L'oreal one to run out first.
I can't imagine it being any better than the L'oreal one though, I think its great!

    1. Let me know how Bioderma works out compared to this! Thank you for the lovely comment and I've followed your blog!
